Britta Jewell

Britta Jewell is a Senior Researcher at Rethink Priorities. Her background is in applying mathematical modeling of global health interventions to improve impact and cost-effectiveness in sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining Rethink Priorities, she worked as a freelance global health consultant with WHO and UNAIDS, among others, and previously held postdoctoral roles at Imperial College London and UC Berkeley focusing on HIV, reproductive health, and non-communicable diseases.

Britta holds a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from Imperial College London and an MSc in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from the University of Oxford.
