Abbie Clare is a Senior Research Manager at Rethink Priorities. She has an interdisciplinary background spanning global health, climate change, and international development.
Before joining Rethink Priorities, Abbie was Head of Research at Development Media International, where she oversaw global teams and projects on topics including infectious disease control, reproductive health, and early childhood development. She has also held research and advisory roles with organisations such as the Rockefeller Economic Council on Planetary Health, the Asian Development Bank, and the London School of Economics.
Abbie holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, an MHSc in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto, and a BA in Psychology and Neurophysiology from the University of Oxford.
