Jerome Mayaud is a Senior Research Manager at Rethink Priorities. He has a background in data science, public health and geography.
Prior to joining RP, he led research, consulting and data science teams at a transportation technology startup, and has held various academic positions. He studied homelessness and population health during his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia, desert dynamics during his PhD at the University of Oxford, and the impact of climate change on ice sheets during his Masters at the University of Cambridge.
Jerome is passionate about helping NGOs and charities make the most of their data to improve decision-making, and sits on the boards of several non-profits.
