Previously, Laura was a policy analyst at the Progressive Policy Institute specializing in United States budget and tax policy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Chicago.

How can risk aversion affect your cause prioritization?
Imagine you’re faced with the following two choices, A and B, and you can push a button to select one or the other to occur. If you choose A, you will save 10 people’s lives with 99% certainty.
