Rey Edison is a Research Associate at Rethink Priorities, where their research focuses on farmed animal welfare. Before joining Rethink Priorities, Rey worked as an independent contractor in animal welfare and biosecurity. Rey holds a PhD in Microbiology from MIT; their dissertation explored topics in animal welfare and biosecurity.
