Rey Edison is an Animal Welfare Program Associate in the Talent Program at Rethink Priorities, where their research focuses on farmed animal welfare. Before joining Rethink Priorities, Rey worked as an independent contractor in animal welfare and biosecurity. Rey holds a PhD in Microbiology from MIT; their dissertation explored topics in animal welfare and biosecurity.
