Nik works at Stanford University as a postdoc in computational biology. His current research applies causal inferential methods to better understand multiomic drivers of complex trait variation in humans. Previously, his PhD work at UC-Davis involved Bayesian phylogenetic methods development. He also serves on the board of directors at the Wild Animal Initiative. In his free time, he likes programming, exercise, photography, and outdoor adventure.
