Jim works on the methodology behind our Cross-Cause Fund and related communication efforts. He is a PhD candidate in Philosophy and has researched topics such as the problem of cluelessness, deep uncertainty about cross-species moral weights, and various crucial considerations for longtermists (see, e.g., his writings on the Effective Altruism Forum).
